St Mirren Park 31 January 2009
Things have been a little quiet around here lately, largely due to a mixture of
- contracting the flu (where I couldn’t do anything including reading and on the one day I dragged myself into the office for a couple of hours a colleague said I looked shocking – in a sympathetic way of course)
- spending some time with family in Glasgow (it was my birthday and I went with my brother to see St Mirren play their first match in their new stadium – see picture), and
- the effects of the bad weather on my return to London, which has had everyone in a bit of a tizzy and upset the natural order of things.
Back to normal shortly, I hope

Susan
Happy late birthday, I hope St Mirren won (my husband cheers for Chelsea and is really really hoping they get a manager that stays for a while!!!) and I cheer for Arsenal, who are not having their best season…so I love the picture of St Mirren’s ground, I’m showing it to my husband 🙂
and we’ve been following the weather closely, it’s been truly awful for you over there this winter. And still you have no signs of spring yet! Ours here in Ottawa is at least 6 weeks away still…..so we don’t feel too badly for your snow, lol!
Most of all, I hope you’re feeling better finally.

Unfortunately it was a draw but still really enjoyable.
The weather has been really horrible (although I like the cold) but we have had some nice sunny days as well and I think spring is beginning to show its early signs – my snowdrops are beginning to come up and the buds on my forsythia look nice and fat!
And I am now fully recovered and feeeling very cheerful, as I always do when I get comments from you Susan!!
